Rambling through the Hampstead home celebrity chef Jamie Oliver shares with his wife Jools, are their 5 children. We share a glimpse into the lifestyle of the couple who reportedly spent GBP8.9million (AUD15.5million) to purchase the property in 2015.

The mansion and home to their growing brood has 7 bedrooms, loads of original architectural features and oodles of charm.

Life in the big family home goes on around Jamie’s punishing travel schedule as he and Jools  bring up their family of 5 children, who range in age from 16 down to 2 years old. With plenty of room to run around in, it seems the home is always filled with love and laughter.

As for all of us, the home continues to change and grow with the family, with some rooms more practical than showy, whereas others such as the master bedroom and bathroom have seen the full decorating treatment.

A self-confessed lover of vintage and retro furniture and toys, Jools has her own kids clothing range exclusive to Mothercare in the UK. Their home is a mixture of collected pieces, indulgent designer buys and the jumble of family-work life mix.

Take a peek inside their home via the lovely candid snaps posted by Jools on Instagram.

Baby River sits in the stunning roll-top freestanding enamel bath in the luxurious bathroom. Warm grey wainscoting picks up the tones in lush floral wallpaper above. Double basins in the wall-mounted vanity provide his-and-hers convenience.

Buddy’s new “big boy” treehouse bunk bed serves as a hideaway.

The sweetly decorated bedroom of Poppy and Daisy matches their charming names.

Jools creates a makeshift play area in the kitchen around the antique fireplace.

The lovely country-style elongated dining table accommodates the whole family at meal times – plenty of space for 5 children!

Fun and games juxtaposed on the opulent and super-sized Louix XV style bed, with its grey velvet upholstery and gilt edging, sitting atop a glamorous sunburst rug.

A little night music on the baby grand piano which stands alongside the modern geometric rug and round velvet ottoman.

Quality close up (and not just the beautiful baby!) with a soft pink upholstered velvet chaise stretching across a patchwork kilim rug.

Baby River cools down in the hallway where we see original floorboards with plenty of patina.

Buddy caught on camera by Mum Jools making his own Oliver Mini+bed with a fun spotted doona set, beneath a bright alphabet poster and a lovely mix of new and vintage furniture.
