Get in quickly though as they’re sure to fly out of the stalls – the German supermarket chain will have their shelves stacked with Brut D’Argent Ice Sparkling Chardonnay 2014 1.5L and Sparkling Pinot Noir 2015 – both in magnum sized 1.5 litres for just $19.99!
Those wishing create a Birdcage of their own on race day, or even stockpile for Christmas, may know that Aldi already has form in the bubbles department. At that price a magnum goes a long way when entertaining – the pretty pink bottle doesn’t hurt in the style stakes either.
