Celebrating innovative use of colour, the Dulux Colour Awards recognise 10 standout projects which are truly creative and represent the future of colour and design. MUSK Architecture Studio won their category, Multi Residential Interior, for their Coppin St Apartments in Melbourne.
What was once a dilapidated single dwelling has been transformed into six unique apartments. The brightly coloured doors were painted in Dulux’s Sulphur and are a key focus that helps to offset the industrial material palette of the background.
“This submission pulls together its colour scheme in a refreshing way whilst ensuring all elements work well together,” says the judging team, made up of Ryan Russel, Director at Russell & George; Maurice Terzini, Restaurateur and Fashion Designer; Fiona Lynch, Director at Fiona Lynch Interior Design; Timothy Hill, Director at Partner’s Hill, and Shelley Ferguson Editor in Cheif of Your Home and Garden (NZ).
