Major retail store, Myer unveils new homeware trends

New collections, products and trends set to bring fashion into the home

Home Beautiful visited Myer today to get a first look at their new store layout. With new partnerships, such as John Lewis, and new collections, Myer gives us an insight to the upcoming trends and talks about how to bring fashion into the home.

Myer exclusive products has launched three main styles, Urban, Classic and Modern Rustic that are expected to be the main trends seen in homes this year.

Urban is the modern look which explores patterns, colours and textures such as woven and jacquard.

Classic is the more traditional look and plays on softer, neutral colours such as hues of slate, white and beige.

Lastly, Modern Rustic is a mix of clean lines, earthy tones and natural materials.

Myer also showcased their new partnership with John Lewis, a UK-based homewares design store. The collection is all about new trends and looks that can be refreshed depending on season and style. Core products are centred around textures such as soft and silky or crisp and fresh. There is brushed cotton and washed cotton, wood and linen all with a focus on textured finishes.

The main styles here are Country, Hotel boutique, Scandi and Fusion.
