We love being able to get a glimpse into the life of our favourite celebrities and more often than not it’s only to discover they’re just like us – crazy for interiors!

Here’s who you should be following on Pinterest for some inspiring renovating, decorating and home styling ideas.

1. Jessica Alba

We love Jessica’s perspective on things. Not only one of the beautiful people herself, the Hollywood actress has great style, with Pinterest boards on everything from “Bathroom Accessories”, “Dining Room” and “My Dressing Room”, to “Fireplace Ideas” and “Kids Space”.

2. Ellen DeGeneres

Turns out Ellen is as property savvy as she is funny – with a penchant for house flipping. What we love most is that it’s not teaming with images, which gives us the impression they might just be Ellen’s own collected ideas, not put together by a team of minions (not that there’s anything wrong with that…).

 3. Nate Berkus

Gorgeous man, gorgeous lifestyle, even more gorgeous taste. Nate is a US-based interior designer who does some seriously high-end work so his Pinterest feed is littered with lust-have fabrics, furniture, flowers and fashion. You might never leave this one…!

 4. Joanna Gaines

One half of the husband-and-wife team who presented the highly acclaimed renovation show Fixer Upper in the US, Joanna and husband Chip have a HUGE following in the States. It’s no surprise that her influence begins to creep onto Australian shores, up our garden paths and into our homes as her innate sense of style is at once aspirational and within reach, with a DIY bent and a can-do attitude. Many of her pins click through her Magnolia website where you can view stories taken from episodes of the universally admired TV show.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow

Oh Gwyneth, how we love you! If you haven’t experienced the overwhelming excitement of her perfect pantry, you’re missing out on Gwyneth’s savvy and sensible homemaking skills. Get on board her Pinterest train for all thing Goop, “GP’s Favorite Things”, and literally thousands of wholesome recipes.

Oh, did we mention that Home Beautiful magazine has a fabulous Pinterest page??!
