Architect Ricardo Bofill has spent more than 45 years transforming an old cement factory into a stunning home.

Located on the outskirts of Barcelona, La Fabrica is home to the architect and his family.

The factory originally served as a World War I-era repair shop, and the once rundown building is now surrounded by trees and features a modern, luxurious interior.

When Bofill purchased the property in 1973, he could see it had potential, and had a strong vision for how it could be transformed.

The interior is light and dreamy, with beautiful high ceilings, grand open spaces and neutral, minimalist decor.
