There’s no better way to get in the mood as we progress through festive season than to sit down with a good old-fashioned Christmas movie.
Not least because it gives us a chance for a little house voyeurism! We love seeing how others decorate their homes for Christmas and draw inspiration from festive feasts, table settings, gift wrapping and tree decorations.
We’ve jumped in our virtual sleigh and collected together a round up of some of our favourite homes from Christmas movies, but you be the judge - which is your favourite?
The Smith House, Meet me in St Louis (1944)
Rosehill Cottage from The Holiday (2006)
The Griswold House, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
The McAllister House, Home Alone (1990)
The Bailey House, It's a Wonderful Life (1947)
