As the editor-in-chief of Australia’s premium homewares magazine, I have to sift through all of the lovely things that come across my desk, try them out and discern which ones I think you’d love to see on the pages of Home Beautiful. While I’ve learned to be highly selective, as you’d expect, along the way there are certain things I covet for my own home. Christmas is extra special and a particularly favourite time of year for me. Read how I decorate my own home for Christmas and, in the meantime, I can’t help but share a few of my favourite things – I’ll be adding them to my wishlist!

Le Grand Voyage De L’Occitane premium advent calendar

$144.00 ($240 value), L’Occitane

This advent calendar combines two of my favourite things: L’Occitane beauty products AND the anticipation of Christmas.

Semi-automatic espresso machine with burr grinder

$799 (usually $999), KitchenAid

Once this beautiful espresso machine from KitchenAid hit my benchtop I said ‘Goodbye’ to pods! Though this takes a little longer to prepare, it’s worth it – I haven’t made a pod coffee since.

I absolutely can’t live without beautiful stemware, and these gorgeous little Pomponette coupes by Maison Balzac are a party in a glass!

Perrier Jouet Blanc de Blancs

$126 (usually $140), Vintage Cellars

Speaking of parties, you can’t celebrate without a great champagne and this Perrier Jouet Blanc de Blancs is sublime.

Titanium Always Pan Pro

$250 (usually $330), Our Place

I’ve heard these pans are indestructible and it’s the first ever non-stick technology made without PFAS (AKA forever chemicals).
I would cook everything from stir-fries to frittata, to steak in this because it will also go in the oven, withstanding up to 535°C.

Trudon flower candlestick

$108, Myer

I light candles every night and I can’t think of a prettier way to display a taper than in this gold-plated candle holder from Trudon.
