No time and no money left to give your kitchen an extensive overhaul? Here are five quick fixes to get your kitchen looking brand new without installing a whole new one.

Splashback

While they may be small in size, a new splashback can change the whole look of your space. Remove old tiles and replace with a more modern look, or add some fun by opting for patterns or colours.

Tapware

Nothing says dated like old tapware. Freshen your space by replacing your faucets. A simple, streamlined design will keep your space feeling contemporary and sleek.

Cabinetry handles

This shaker-style kitchen feels cohesive and inviting thanks to the finer details, like the cabinetry handles. A slim, rectangular handle will create a modern look, a detailed, circular shape is ideal for a traditional home and a knob is perfect for achieving a retro look.

Lighting

While we can’t always create more natural light, you can add task lighting to improve the functionality of your kitchen and make it more appealing. Pendants work perfectly as they hang directly over the bench space providing light where it’s needed most.

Coat of paint

If everything is in good shape, simply update the colour of your kitchen for quick-and-easy facelift. If you opt for a neutral colour, remember to add personality with furnishings or choose a feature wall opposite to add a splash of colour.
