If you are yet to discover the power of podcasts, prepare to be educated. Cooking dinner? Commuting to work? Wherever you are, whatever you’re into, there’s something for everyone.

Here are the podcasts on heavy rotation in the Home Beautiful office: 

1. Star Talk by Neil deGrasse Tyson

A podcast on space, science, and popular culture. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson sits down with various comic and celebrity co-hosts and frequent guests from the worlds of science and entertainment. “This is where I get my inner-geek on,” says HB’s art director Julia Hoolahan. “Neil makes science so interesting and enjoyable.  He’s an absolute genius and has the answer to everything – in a totally non-pretentious way!”

4. Second Life by Hillary Kerr

Hillary Kerr is the founder of fashion and beauty website Who What Wear and in this insightful and uplifting podcast, she chronicles the career changes of brilliant people. “It’s stories of people who have had really interesting career changes to then move on kick some serious goals. Such an inspiring listen,” says HB’s style editor Fiona Michelon.
