KITCHEN
In awe of their spacious kitchen, Aaron and Daniella described this zone as the centrepiece of their home. While the judges thought it was too big, the homeowners thought it was perfect -- especially for hosting large gatherings.
The kitchen fit out is by Kitchen Trends, the overhead cabinetry & bar back panels are Tasmania Oak with a woodmatt finish from Polytec. The coveted oversized benchtop is Caeserstone 'Statuario Maximus'. Base cabinets are in Crisp White with a matt finish from Polytec with a 'Burazzo' undermount sink and 'Chevron' pull down sink mixer from Highgrove Bathrooms.
The 'Calisto' pendant lights and 'Blake' aluminium stools are from Early Settler, and the 50s style pastel green kettle, induction cooktop and pyrolitic oven (in black) are Smeg.
PLAYROOM
Above all, Daniella's most loved room was the playroom Kate and Harry created for the boys. With bright, bold wallpaper, a hidden cubby house and clever craft table, we're sure it'll keep Jaxon and Brooklyn occupied for hours.
The 'Kochi' hand-braided round jute rug is by Miss Amara, the Monsterio wallpaper from Affordable Decorators and the two-sided White and timber 'Vox Spot' desk and toys were found at Matt Blatt. Up in the cubby, the ‘Sitting Tiger’ wall art and removable grey arrowhead stickers are all from Adairs, as was the pom-pom tassel garlands that formed part of Kate and Harry's winning statement piece.
LIVING ROOM
The work of Sean and Ella was a hit with the homeowners this week, particularly that stunning curved timber feature wall. Delivering on the Bahamas-themed house rule, the room was the perfect balance between 'tropical oasis' and 'Gold Coast Bling,' Daniella and Aaron loved their new living room.
Flooring is 'Bespoak Chiffon' from Carpet Court and the 'Green Palm' wallpaper in the hallway is from Affordable Decorators. The gorgeous 'Big Apple' green velvet sofa with brass legs is from Matt Blatt and the rattan lounger is from Byron Bay Hanging Chair. The 'Salu' coffee table in white comes from Early Settler.
