Comfy corners are a perfect spot to style a room to a colour brief. Pretty cushions take cues from ocean artworks, with sandy textures applied to armchair upholstery.

Artwork can add a burst of colour to an otherwise neutral scheme, taking the whole room to another level. Decorate with a collection of objects that are at once meaningful and within the tonal range of the room scheme.

Connect with nature

Shades of blue and natural textures against a base of warm neutrals illustrate how a coastal interior can be subtle and elegant. Natural fibres are layered in a round 'Zinnia Weave' rug from Armadillo & Co over sisal flooring from International Floorcoverings.

Commit to colour
