This clever Kmart hack will transform your bedroom

So simple and creative

An Adelaide mum caused a stir on social media when she shared a clever hack using a Kmart room screen.

Struggling to find a bedhead large enough for her super king-size bed, Ceryce Stone purchased two $69 room screens, removed the ends and screwed them together to create a stylish and affordable bed head. She shared the impressive results on the Kmart Mums Facebook page.

Kmart fans are already obsessed with the acacia and rattan room screen as it is, however the popular product also looks great as a bed head, and you can add or remove panels as needed.

Simply unscrew the swing hinge, detach the panels, and adding an extra panel – or two, depending on the size of your bed, then screw back together again.

The hack created a lot of interest on Facebook, with the post attracting 943 likes and almost 200 comments.

“Looks very tropical like a Bali resort. I like it,” wrote one follower.

“This is so clever, looks beautiful!” added another.

“That’s fantastic – you’ve achieved a boho style look without breaking the budget – very cool,” wrote a third.
