Miranda Kerr launches new furniture line

The chic new range is in collaboration with Universal Furniture

Australian model Miranda Kerr has launched her first home line in collaboration with US company Universal Furniture.

The range, which launches in October 2019, is called LOVE. JOY. BLISS and is chic, sophisticated and modern.

The pieces in Kerr’s new line feature clean, geometric lines and muted palettes, with pop of soft, feminine hues such as pink and gold.

While the 36-year-old travels frequently for work, she says she always loves coming home, and when abroad, likes to personalise the space she’s in by lighting candles and displaying crystals.

“One of my favorite things to do in hotel rooms is move pieces of furniture. I’ll remove things, like pillows, and put them in the closet. I like to keep it simple,” she tells Architectural Digest.

“I put my crystals out and I light my candles. It doesn’t matter the space that I’m in: I like to make it mine and personalized with specific things like that.”

The range features the Peony Drawer Chest, which is feminine and modern, the Sydney Bunching Cocktail Tables, which come in wood with brass-finished accents, and Kerr’s personal favourite, the Round Dining Table, which is geometric and glass-covered with brass-finished accents.

“It’s round, which I really love, and I feel like it’s very versatile. I love the space that it creates. Because it’s a metal structure, it has the detail and the intricacy there. But with the clear top, it’s not too overbearing.

“I feel like it can fit into any size room. It’s timeless. I see furniture as an investment.”

Miranda Kerr’s LOVE. JOY. BLISS collaboration with Universal Furniture will be on sale soon. Visit universalfurniture.com/mirandakerrhome for more information.
