There’s nothing quite so lovely as a beautiful candle that smells as good as it looks. However, for some poor folks trying to indulge their olfactory senses, burning a candle has turned into a genuine fire and explosion risk.
The ACCC Product Safety Australia has recalled the Peter Alexander P.A! scented large triple-wick candle due to reports of the candle wax igniting, causing a fire and a safety hazard. In some cases, the glass vessel has fractured or shattered due to the wax igniting.
The product recall is for the 400g large triple-wick candles in fragrances CoCo Caramel, Persimmon Pop, Amber, Fresh Mint and Unicorn.
Product Safety Australia is urging customers who have purchased these candles between 7th of May 2018 and the 19th of June 2019 to stop using the candle immediately and return it to their nearest Peter Alexander store for a full refund.
For further information, contact your local Peter Alexander store or call 1300 366 683 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
