If you’re a ‘90s kid, there’s a good chance you watched Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
And like many ‘90s kids, you watched enviously as Kevin McAllister gorged himself on ice cream sundaes, rode in limousines and ran amok in New York’s Plaza hotel.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the cult film, The Plaza is now offering a ‘Live Like Kevin’ experience inspired by Kevin’s adventures at the hotel.
The package offers a one-of-a-kind photo experience which allows fans to “be Kevin” experiencing his journey throughout the movie. Guests will walk their way through the NYC skyline for photo opportunities with the Wet/Sticky Bandits, a Central Park scene and have the opportunity to choose a custom photo booth experience for photos to take home with them.
There will also be a fun menu to enjoy at The Plaza’s Todd English Food Hall, featuring upscale takes on ‘90s kids foods including SpaghettiOs, gourmet ‘Todd’ pockets, Charcuterie Lunchables, Funyun Rings, and Sunny-D and Zima inspired cocktails.
The package also includes a branded backpack, t-shirt and copy of the “Anniversary Edition” Blu-ray. And for the literal cherry on top, you will get a complimentary in-room ice cream Plaza-style-sundae cart ordered via room service.
For the ultimate Macauley Culkin experience, you can choose to add on various excursions including express passes to the top of the Empire State Building, access to Wollman Rink, a limousine pizza journey through NYC and a personalized vacation photographer to capture all of the fun.
Rates start at US$895, and the package is available from Friday, November 17, 2017 until Monday, October 29, 2018. Click here for more information.
