The charming Edwardian cottage is in the Melbourne inner city suburb of Elsternwick and was bought in 2015 by The Bachelor power couple and fitness empire builders Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski and is no stranger to a little celebrity attention – it was fully renovated by The Block contestants Julia and Sasha.
As a feature of his 28 By Sam Wood program, which encourages members to workout from home wherever and whenever possible, Wood has filmed most of his exercise videos in the lounge room of the home.
Throughout the home dark American oak floorboards sweep past familiar spaces – such as the sunny bay window seat – a favourite family perch and a frame for an outdoor vertical garden wall.
Other rooms have featured variously on social media as Sam and Snez have lived and raised their family of two daughters there, so it’s not difficult to imagine yourself living within its walls beneath soaring ceilings and statement light fittings.
The master bedroom boasts a walkin-in wardrobe and dressing room with an adjacent ensuite containing a luxurious dual shower.
Sam and Snez were married in December 2018 and recently announced the impending birth of their second child together, stepping their little family up to a total of five members – and perhaps forcing their hand to begin the search for a larger home to make more room for everyone.
Listing agent Marty Fox describes the three-bedroom, two-bathroom property as “perfectly renovated” and we’re inclined to agree. The all-white interior has been thoughtfully designed for a family lifestyle, with open plan living areas that open out with French- and bi-fold doors onto a neatly manicured garden and inviting outdoor entertaining zone.
