If you thought that the key to timeless stylish interiors required dropping half of your fortnightly mortgage repayments, we're here to change your tune.
Ikea is one of our favourite brands here at HB, delivering Scandi-designed products at wallet-friendly prices.
But which Ikea products do we really love? The new launches that make us excited? And the classic products we turn back to time and again?
We've narrowed it down to a top seven. Here are our favorite finds.
1. Gronadal rocking chair, $199.
“I love the contrast between the natural rattan and the steel frame.”Holly Byrne
2. Ludde white sheepskin, $79.
“This little sheepskin rug is ideal for kids rooms – I have one in front of my son’s bookshelf – and it also makes a lovely babyshower gift! It’s also great to throw over hard stools and chairs if you need to cosy up outdoor spaces. Plus, Jon Snow can’t be wrong.”Sarah Burman
3. Stockholm 2017 rattan cabinet, $499.
“I love the combination of the delicate rattan with the brass details.”Rachel Peters
4. Ypperlig dark grey coffee table, $59.
"I love this modern, understated piece. The size is perfect for a side table, and the simplistic design allows you to style it to suit any space. I’m excited to see the rest of the Hay x Ikea collaboration."Julia Nadin
“Ilse Crawford is a goddess in home design and making a space your own. This pendant ticks all those boxes at an affordable price.”Diana Moore
6. Lenda curtains, $29.99
"I love them because you can just string them on a rod so you don’t need rings or clips; they’re a good length, so they fit just about any window and puddle nicely on the floor; they’re opaque, so good for privacy while still admitting light; and the cotton fabric is quite weighty so it gathers well. On some of our (large!) windows I have two pairs on the one decorative rod – it looks great, and it solved the problem of what to do about window coverings, at a very reasonable price. Sooner or later I’ll get round to sewing them together to make one big curtain!"Jane Parbury, HB deputy editor
7. Mossebo frame, white stained oak effect, $39.99
“The oak-effect of this frame looks high-end and a lot more expensive than it is.”Tilly Roberts
