This couple of graphic designers quit their day jobs, renovated a bus and are travelling around Australia. We are obsessed.

If you’ve ever been tempted to throw it all in and get on the road, Tom and Cat have just the inspiration you need – on trend and on tap.

**Warning: Instagram rabbit hole ensues!

Just a little over twelve months ago, Tom and Cat bought an old converted school bus , gave it a much-needed makeover and hit the road to travel around Australia, journaling their adventures under the Instagram handle @adventuresinabus.

After a lot of scrubbing, a fresh lick of paint and some seriously stylish interior decorating, what follows is a mouth-watering visual diary many of us only dream of living out in real life.

We love the way Tom and Cat’s mobile home is as much a part of the joy of travel as the destinations they visit – what they have created is a real home to love, proving that you can live a full life with less.

If your own wanderlust is on the back burner for now, just sit back and enjoy it through their eyes – along with some great tips for small space decorating, small space storage and the odd outdoor haircut!

On the road…

A new kitchen was installed with all that’s needed for day-to-day meal prep.

Super-efficient mini pantry integrated into the kitchen cabinetry.

The 360 degree virtual tour of the interior shows more clever storage ideas, along with some savvy decorating touches!

The ultimate outdoor room – complete with home cinema!

Plenty of adventures

Vignette or view?

Interior or vista?

With this kind of inspiration, don’t blame us if you hand in your resignation tomorrow!
