In case you need another reason to fall in love with the rock god, under the banner of his new interior design company, Kravitz Design he has designed a house as magnetic and drop-dead stylish as the singer himself.
Whilst running to all the trappings of the rock star lifestyle, in The Stanley House Kravitz has designed a breathtaking space of immense proportion, detailing and polish, perched high above the City of Angels.
In a collaboration with architect, the late Austin Kelly of XTEN, the 5 bedroom home was designed with no budget specified and it shows – everything here is the finest. It is at once a private haven with a sumptuous palette of natural textures, high end bespoke detailing and considered mid-century modern interior design, and a Hollywood showstopper with wide open spaces, vast potential for entertaining va-va-voom and incredible 270 degree views over the Los Angeles skyline.
The home strikes quite a pose from its vantage point with its moody lighting and 20 metre semi-circular infinity pool glowing blue in the night sky. It covers approximately 3200 square metres and comprises 7 bathrooms, colossal double-sided fireplaces in the main living areas and the latest in home automation with retractable walls. Elsewhere find intimate lounge rooms featuring sumptuous upholstered velvet banquette seating and generous art, iconic furnishings and luxury finishes.
The central gallery kitchen is an entertainer’s dream, with marble waterfall central island flanked by a generous dining table.
A fully equipped outdoor kitchen is formed from poured concrete and located outside on the terrace, which is paved with recycled bricks. A cosy garden nook is nestled into the landscaped garden outside the office, beckoning with a glowing fire pit.
Lavish expanses of marble features liberally throughout the entire home.
