The Three Birds’ latest renovation!

Revealed: an exclusive look at Three Birds Renovations’ latest dream house transformation

Tools are down, cushions are fluffed and this house is now a home. Seven months after the owners of this house handed over their keys to the Three Birds Renovations team and walked away, it’s now ready for its big reveal.

Taking an exclusive first look at the Three Birds Renovations team’s latest project, House 11, Home Beautiful can report the trio pulled off a miracle makeover, yet again.

Over the course of six weeks we’ll take you on a tour through the ins and outs of this remarkable renovation.

First up: the front façade and entry. From the street, the heavenly Hamptons style house has come a long way from its beige and brown former self.

“The house was completely transformed through cladding and paint,” says Bonnie Hindmarsh, the team’s co-founder and creative director.

She had the brickwork sprayed in Dulux Grey Pail and used Dulux White on White on the trims. She also used Stria cladding by James Hardie on the upper floor and gables to bring out the home’s inherent charm.

Inside, the dark and dingy hallway now bursts with life. Bonnie resuscitated the area with a built-in banquette under the stairs, adding HardieGroove V-groove cladding from James Hardie and Portsea exterior lights from Beacon Lighting to the wall.

Encaustic tiles in Middleton Beach from Tile Cloud on the floor lift the mood. As Bonnie says, “It went from dead space into a real moment.”
