Here, Kylie was willing to go bold with her design choices. Statement custom-finished tapware from Faucet Strommen was her first brave move, followed by the pairing of ‘Prague’ Matt White mosaic tiles with grey grout from National Tiles (in the kitchen and bathroom).
A metallic wall light bought from Beacon Lighting and brass T-pull handles on the cabinets (try Lo & Co) were chosen to complement the tapware and add glamour to the tiny house.
“It was a challenge to design such a small space, but I loved it. it’s one of my favourites”Kylie
The ‘Alape Klassiker’ enamel wall basin from Reece was another step outside of the box Kylie was willing to take, and it’s made to appear more luxe with the accompanying custom-made Faucet Strommen tapware. The oversized shower head, also from Faucet Strommen, is reason enough for visitors to stay a little longer.
Guest living area
A salvaged staircase was given a new lease on life with a coat of white paint and it now leads the way up to the guests’ sleeping quarters. A sofa from Adairs offers a comfortable spot to relax at ground level. Above a custom bench in the entry, the ‘Oak Cutter’ wardrobe shelf from Skagerak Denmark adds storage potential, with Etsy finds making the space all the more inviting.
