Panoramic views
With sweeping views of the countryside, this modest three-bedroom home is made from environmentally-friendly materials. Large windows were placed at the rear of the house to let in natural light and make the transition from indoor to outdoor seamless. The studio, Finnis Architects built this beautiful home from scratch.

The entrance
The feature entrance is the connector between both sides of the home and made from rammed earth. Polished concrete adds texture by exposing the aggregate and balancing the building’s features.

Glass walls
Making the most of the view, strategically placed glass walls fill the home with light.

Bedroom bliss
White sheets and simple furnishings keep the focus on the home’s greatest asset; the view.

Hallway
The polished concrete is a nice contrast to the textured look of the rammed earth walls. The wooden furniture helps bring out the room’s warmth.
The quintessential outdoors gal, Maddie suffers keenly from wanderlust and is always on the hunt for adventure - whether it's hiking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal or discovering the 100s of beaches in Bali and along the Australian coastline.
