It may be tempting to play it safe by sticking to neutral tones and plain colours in the living room during winter, but beware the risk of things looking a little drab if you do so. When adding a warming layer of irresistible textures, using some colour in the mix will give an essential energising lift to the room- and your mood.
Adding pops of colour can work to a calmer palette than you’d use during summer – soft, dusty duck egg blues – a tone close to the HB heart - punctuated with metallic touches and timber details will allow you to tie in with the natural textures and finishes we love.
