The tiny treasure hunt you need to know about

Win a trip to Paris!

Grab your magnifying glasses, art fans, this treasure hunt is for you.

Art Series Hotels has launched “Art in Micro”, an exhibition of micro art which will be on display in all of their hotels throughout Australia.

Guests will be presented with a magnifying glass at check-in, along with a catalogue of all of the micro artworks.

The challenge is to find all of the artworks in the hotel – and share your finds on social media.

And here’s the best bit: find the artwork and you go in a draw to win a trip for two to the Louvre in Paris.

Artwork featured in the exhibition includes miniature lead pencil tips by Salavat Fidai, miniature ceramics by Jon Almeda, micro watercolours by Varvara Razakova and miniature urban dioramas by Joshua Smith.

Art Series Hotels’ marketing director Ryan Tuckerman said: “We have a rich history of supporting and exploring contemporary art forms, and believe micro art will be of particular fascination this exhibition season. Across the eight of our Art Series Hotels, over 40 pieces of micro art have either been purchased directly from artists around the world, or have been loaned. We’re inviting guests to stay the night and find the art.”

The ‘Art in Micro’ exhibition runs nationally until 31 July.

Squint and you’ll miss it.
