Chris Pearson

During his journalism career, Chris has enjoyed editor roles and has contributed to Home Beautiful as a freelance writer for over a decade, meshing his love of design with words. “We are all affected by our physical environments,” he says, “so why not make them as appealing as possible?” Chris describes himself as a maximalist at heart. “We should surround ourselves with spaces and objects that express our inner selves,” he says. “My minimalist friends comment on my ‘clutter’ and love of bold colour. But I like it that way.” Recently, we were lucky to have Chris pen HB’s ‘100 Beautiful Rooms’, marking a century of achievements and a milestone in the publishing world.
