It’s a building thousands of Sydneysiders and tourist alike walk past daily. Here’s a chance to peek into what lies within.
Built in 1884, the ASN Co. building in The Rocks, Sydney remains one of the few examples of nineteenth-century Anglo Dutch architecture, featuring a painted brick façade, copper-roofed bay and ornate stone-capped gable ends.
With beautiful views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, the Investment group Emerge Capital Partners enlisted Infinite Design Studio in the interior design and fitout of the interiors covering three floors in which to work, meet and entertain. The work and was carried out in the style of a modern “Old World manor”, reminiscent of HBs Tailored Simplicity style trend for 2018.
The results showcase the historic fabric of the building, with stylish interior touches of iconic vintage furniture including chairs by Grant Featherston and Hans Wegner; contemporary productions of Charles and Ray Eames, Eero Saarinen and Eero Aarnio pieces; and lighting by Tom Dixon and Jason Miller.
