Alisha Henderson

Alisha started posting hand-painted creations on Instagram at 19 – to viral effect – and launched her cake business, Sweet Bakes. Not long after, she ventured into the marzipan- and fondant-laced world of wedding cakes. There have been many evolutions since then. Alisha has applied her illustrative talents to a children’s book, taught cake-decorating workshops, and launched a ‘Cake Mail’ service during the pandemic that went, she says, ‘bananas’. Then there’s Co.Bake, a creative space for hire founded with fellow baker Alice Bennett.
