So, to help myself and our lovely Home Beautiful readers create quick and easy cleaning routines, I’ve rounded up all the best Boxing Day vacuum sales on robot vacuums, stick vacuums, vacuum-mop combos, and everything in between.

What to look for when shopping 2025’s Boxing Day vacuum sales

Those who love a spotless home have likely noticed that, in recent months, the popularity of robot vacuums has skyrocketed. In fact, Google Trends shows a steady rise in search volume for the term ‘robot vacuum’ over the last 12 months, and, recently, Home Beautiful’s vacuum guides have been gaining considerable popularity.

However, with the solidification of their coveted status comes fierce competition for the best Boxing Day vacuum deals. The key to beating the masses? Knowing what you’re looking for, being prepared, and getting in early.

Shopping tip: for sparkling floors, make sure you opt for models with a pascall (Pa) level of over 2500; any models with Pa levels lower than this may not offer the suction power you need.

Stick vacuum vs. robot vacuum: Which is better?

According to industry experts, the answer might actually be both. Roborock‘s ANZ Marketing Manager, Bianca Bai, states that the Roborock team has recently been “seeing more households choose both,” explaining that “Robots handle daily maintenance — keeping floors clean automatically — while wet&dry/stick vacuums remain the go-to for spot or deep cleaning. It’s less about choosing one and more about building a complete home-cleaning system.”

The idea that customers are opting for a combination of stick and robot vacuuming has also been seconded by Dreame’s ANZ Category Manager, Patrick Wang, who claimed, “We’re seeing a clear shift in consumer mindset. Customers aren’t choosing one over the other; it’s about understanding how they serve as complementary tools,” adding that, “the robot now handles the daily grind, freeing up the stick vacuum for targeted tasks.”

So, for those of us wanting to get behind this forward-thinking cleaning trend, now’s the best time to take home all the tools you need at the best price possible.

How to get the best deals on Australia’s top vacuum brands

For the best insights on Boxing Day shopping, we went straight to the source. Having claimed the #1 market share in over 18 countries for their robot vacuums, Dreame knows a thing or two about keeping floors spotless. Here’s what their ANZ Category Manager, Patrick Wang, had to say about shopping this year’s top vacuum deals:

“My top insider tip is to prioritise features over instant discounts. While it’s tempting to focus on the biggest price drops, the highest value comes from models that offer advanced capabilities like strong mopping and AI obstacle avoidance. Investing slightly more on Boxing Day for a robot vacuum that is truly autonomous will give you a better return on investment in the long run than buying a basic model that still requires manual work.”
