In yet another way to change the way we live, Swedish retail giant IKEA has released a series of books in 3 parts called “Find it!” to help us get organised at home with a collection of covetable homes hiding clever storage ideas.
“Part 1 Clothes and Shoe Storage in Eight Homes” goes beyond the IKEA catalogue to take us inside 8 real homes to see how people actually live and adapt with IKEA products in their homes.
The homes are a visual feast and inhabitants range from a stylist, personal shopper and fashion blogger, through a creative couple living with their teenage son, French bulldog and a cat. Home of families big and small, young and old are featured – parents and five-or six kids, young families living in the city, a single guy living in one fabulous room in an old warehouse in one of the biggest cities in the world.
Great homes to pore over, with a mix of IKEA products within, but not overly highlighted – simply incorporated as part of the fabric of these homes, together with great storage and organisation inspiration.
Thanks IKEA. It could be the case that, for less than $20 this book can indeed, “Make our everyday life a little better.”
