Editor’s travel tips: While I adore Berry, the rural town that truly has my heart will always be Bowral. From its tiny boutiques to its tree-lined streets, you’d be hard-pressed to find a Bowral-based lane that isn’t a feast to the eyes. My partner and I made the trip down just a few weekends ago, and when it was time to leave, he had to drag me back to the car while I frantically looked for properties on realestate.com (when a town is that lovely, who cares about a 1.5-hour commute?). One must-see is Dirty Jane’s Antique Emporium, an expansive and beautifully curated second-hand shop that you’ll love getting lost in.
