Australian cricket legend Michael Clarke has listed his Vaucluse home for sale. Residing on the exclusive Olola Avenue, the property boasts five bedrooms and a generous 784 sqm size.
Clarke originally purchased the property in 2021 for $13.1 million, following his split from wife Kyly, who he shares a daughter with. He bought it from Dowco Property Group director Andrew Daoud. Prior to Daoud, the residence has been owned by property developer Bryan Rose between 2008 and 2019, as well as Allco Finance executive Phil Griffin until 2008.
While the home’s harbourside location is certainly a highlight, the property’s elegant interiors are just as impressive. On the ground floor, an airy, open-plan kitchen and living area opens out onto a resort-style garden with an entertaining area and swimming pool. The second floor is just as luxurious with an expansive master suite featuring an ensuite with a deep tub and private terrace.
It doesn’t look like Clarke is planning to leave the exclusive neighbourhood anytime soon, having reportedly spent around $20 million for a larger six-bedroom home on Hopetoun Avenue. While his current property doesn’t have a price guide yet, similar homes in the area have sold for around $20 million.
The luxury home is listed with Bill and David Malouf of Highland Double Bay Malouf and the full listing is available on realestate.com.
