The expansive property features four bedrooms, a rooftop pool and a five-metre library wall.
Merrick and his wife purchased the property in 2009 and transformed it from a sweet factory into a sustainable home.
The rooftop pool area is fully decked and opens out onto a spacious kitchen and entertaining area.
Inside, a show-stopping five-metre high book shelf lines the walls of the cavernous living room, which features a suspended Domofocus fireplace which rotates as warms.
The industrial-style home is filled with exposed beams, and and recyclable materials have been used throughout the property, including 400-year-old ship masts.
A 9-metre long island bench made from ironbark sets the scene in the kitchen, which also features a Subzero fridge and a dual fuel range cooktop.
The bedrooms are lined with plywood and feature heated polished concrete floors.
