Sting’s glamorous apartment
Located on the edge of Central Park in Manhattan, Sting’s apartment is in one of the city’s most coveted buildings. The expansive, 1,651 sq. metres (approx.) duplex apartment boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms and two partial bathrooms with a large terrace that celebrates the city skyline.
Upon entering, you are greeted with a sculptural winding staircase and exclusive multi-panel wooden screen by Italian artist and sculptor Piero Fornasetti. Bright pink lights add a dash of edgy fun, for which Sting is known.
The all-white kitchen is an entertainers dream with top-of-the-line everything, including two fridges, four ovens and three dishwashers.
Past the foyer lies a beautifully proportioned living room with floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the park and leading out to the sprawling terrace. A custom-made Fibonacci fireplace divides the living room from the sitting area complete with built-in bookshelves.
The home’s neutral palette is echoed throughout. Here, punches of colour, in form of cushions and dining chairs, add visual interest.
The luxurious master suite features sweeping city views and comes with his and hers wardrobes.
No expense was spared here, the master ensuite features two opulent spa baths and a sauna. The marble-clad bath with its surrounding mirrors and breathtaking views may just be the best seat in the apartment.
