Celebrity style may feel out of reach but Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest homeware find proves that you don’t need a star’s budget to shop like one. The And Just Like That… star has taken to Instagram to share her new homeware find – a chic pleated lamp from none other than IKEA.
In her post, Sarah shows her pretty KUDDLAVA lamp emitting a soft glow on her kitchen counter. Before posting her finished product, Sarah also gave us a peek into her assembling the lamp on her outside table.
The table lamp features a pretty pleated design that’s reminiscent of a paper lantern, with a Scandinavian-inspired sillhouette. The paper lantern style has become popular in recent years, with Noguchi’s iconic Akari lights serving as the original inspiration of many of the newer designs. Pleated lamp shades have also seen a rise in popularity, with the cool KUDDLAVA lamp seamlessly blending both of these styles.
The lamp is made from white polypropylene plastic, with half of the material being recycled plastic – making it a more sustainable option. Between SJP’s new wallpaper range and her stylish and affordable lamp choice, we’re loving her ventures into the homewares space.
