Wicker armchairs and vintage-style cushions create a cosy corner. The home’s exterior is clad in traditional shiplap panels, which hark back to the property’s 1920s heritage.
Kitchen
The country-style kitchen is the hub of the home. Panelled cabinetry, built by Marcon Cabinets, was painted in Dulux Antique White and topped with slabs of Quarella quartz. Vintage scales and a canvas shopping bag continue the rustic theme.
Living room
With oak walls and exposed beams, the living room is true to the home’s hunting lodge character. A button-back sofa, grand chandeliers from Italy and bespoke blackwood veneer bookshelves all infuse the space with a classic reading-room feel.
Dining room
An antique table and chairs bring warmth to the dining room. On the brick wall hangs an earthy-hued tapestry, while a stack of blackwood awaits a crackling log fire.
Main bedroom
A statement artwork pulses off the dark walls and below, a screen-printed cushion adapted from the artwork brings vibrancy to the sleigh bed that is the central element in the main bedroom. Scalloped bedlinen is the perfect finishing touch.
Ensuite
An elegant dresser provides space for a perfume collection and adds a dash of glamour. In the ensuite, a luxe-for-less look is delivered with simple white porcelain wall tiles, plus a few marble ones that introduce a textural note. The trolley is another antique gem.
Study
The study is a trove of memorabilia, brimming with antiques, collectables and cherished artworks.
