Fans of Under the Tuscan Sun rejoice: the wildly romantic villa featured in the movie has been renovated and is now available to rent for your next Italian holiday.
The 17th century property, otherwise known as Villa Laura, was featured in the film as the rustic Bramasole.
Located on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, the 10-bedroom villa was recently redesigned and given a luxurious makeover, complete with a show-stopping swimming pool, wine cellar and home theatre.
Taking inspiration from a 17th century fresco, the renovation is sensitive to the original design, featuring exposed stonework and beams.
According to the Villa Laura website, the neutral interiors are beautifully decorated in “soft pinks, turquoise, and cream”.
The property has received glowing reports on the booking website.
“Villa Laura was so amazing,” one guest wrote.
“It was exactly like the pictures and so much more. We were a party of 10 on holiday in Tuscany celebrating a friend’s birthday.
The grounds and view from every window are gorgeous. Highly recommend having a pizza night at the house.”
Rates at Villa Laura range from US$2,200 (approximately AUD$2,970) to US$3,800 (approximately AUD$5,130) throughout the peak season.
