Kitchen Renovations

A timeless new appliance to add to your kitchen reno wish list

Your dream kitchen awaits.

The kitchen is one of the rooms you spend the most waking hours in and in the lead up to your renovation you’ve likely spent months, if not years, dreaming about how to make the heart of your home perfect. One of the biggest decisions you’ll make for your sparkly new space is choosing your brand-spanking new cooking appliances.

Here’s five reasons why Bertazzoni’s new Heritage Series of freestanding cookers and stovetops tick all the boxes:

1. Classic good looks
Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series is timeless. While you’re choosing your kitchen cabinetry with an eye to a style that will stand the test of time, you can also choose appliances that will seamlessly complement your fresh vision. Available in freestanding or built-in, you can choose from sleek stainless steel, sophisticated matte black, or the new classic ivory Avorio glossy enamel finish. The ivory Avorio was nostalgically inspired by 1930s Italian wood-burning stoves, making this choice ideal for a recognisably traditional look that will add maximum aesthetic appeal in your kitchen for years to come.

2. Powerful cooking features

The Heritage Series freestanding cookers give you the tools to elevate your cooking. Whether you’re an entertainer who plans large dinner parties, or you’re a home chef who wants to make memorable family dinners, there’s an option for your cooking style. The 120cm model boasts two 69-litre multi-function ovens, a six brass-burner gas cooktop and integrated 1100w electric griddle cooktop so you can be stirring while your simmering, roasting and baking. This option also comes with full-width storage drawer. Or you can choose the 90cm model that includes a best-in-class 103-litre, 11 function electric oven and is completed by a powerful 6 brass-burner gas cooktop. Both cookers feature the added bonus of soft-closing oven doors.

3. Customisable hardware

To complement the launch of the Heritage Series, Bertazzoni has released the Collezione Metalli range that includes customisable control knobs, finials on the door handles and the towel rail. Choose from finishes in Gold, Copper and Black Nickel. And if you’re not ready to make the choice now, you also have the option of adding these pieces on your Heritage Series appliances at a later date. Fortunately, installing the Collezione Metalli pieces at home is simple and you won’t need any special tools.

4. Innovative engineering

You don’t have to sacrifice function for beauty – with the Heritage Series, you can choose a classic look on the exterior with modern precision engineering on the interior. Bertazzoni appliances are known as a leader in production techniques, taking their manufacturing inspiration from Italian companies that make iconic cars and motorbikes as well as agricultural, hydraulic, construction and ceramic machinery. And all Bertazzoni products work with each other – so you can opt for all pieces from the Heritage Series or mix it up with the Professional or Modern Series.

5. Backed by tradition

Bertazzoni has a 140-year history of superior craftmanship behind it, beginning in 19th century Italy when founder Franceso Bertazzoni decided to combine his love of engineering, family and food to create the Bertazzoni business. Five generations later, it’s still a beloved family-run business, and the Heritage Series takes its inspiration directly from the original Bertazzoni ranges created by Franceso’s son Napoleone Bertazzoni at the start of the 20th century. So when you choose the Heritage Series you’re not just choosing a classic aesthetic, you’re choosing an appliance steeped in genuine Italian history.
