This fresh and easy update was inspired by the home’s close proximity to the Victorian coastline. The palette was kept simple, just ocean blues and fresh white with warm timber detailing.
The wardrobe was an Ebay find and painted over; try Porters Paints ‘Amulet’ for a similar finish. The striped chair covering is from Big Chair and the throw was found on a holiday to San Diego – try the ‘Charlotte’ throw from Adairs for similar.
The touch of timber adds warmth to the room and visually breaks up the white wall. It also provides much-needed storage for grab-and-go items – try ‘Shelf Ledge with Hooks’ by Pottery Barn for similar.
Fluffy cushions add texture and colour to the bed while the personalised block letters add personality.
