While My Kitchen Rules stars and homeowners Zana and Gianni initially toyed with the idea of a walk-in wardrobe behind closed doors, they’re pleased they opted for an innovative alternative.

Instead of putting everything behind a heavy wall and closed doors, Zana and Gianni went bold, using the glamourous Cocolea Furniture copper chests as extra storage.

“It gives the room a much more open feel than a solid wall, while still dividing the wardrobe space,” says Zana of the feature, which makes an opulent statement that belies its keen functionality.

In keeping with the use of copper and rose gold finishes elsewhere in the home, Zana’s choice to pair two studded steamer-style chests of drawers together adds an element of luxury to the entire space and doubles as a bedhead.

Touches of timber in the detailing of the tallboys pick up on the warm brown tones in the leopard print bedlinen behind and, when combined with dusty pink highlights and monochrome artworks, form a dazzling, yet stylish statement in the master bedroom.
