In fact, Google Trends shows a steady rise in search volume for the term ‘robot vacuum’ over the last 12 months, and, recently, Home Beautiful’s vacuum guides have been gaining considerable popularity.
However, with the solidification of their coveted status comes fierce competition for the best Boxing Day vacuum deals. The key to beating the masses? Knowing what you’re looking for, being prepared, and getting in early.
Shopping tip: for sparkling floors, make sure you opt for models with a pascall (Pa) level of over 2500; any models with Pa levels lower than this may not offer the suction power you need.

The idea that customers are opting for a combination of stick and robot vacuuming has also been seconded by Dreame‘s ANZ Category Manager, Patrick Wang, who claimed, “We’re seeing a clear shift in consumer mindset. Customers aren’t choosing one over the other; it’s about understanding how they serve as complementary tools,” adding that, “the robot now handles the daily grind, freeing up the stick vacuum for targeted tasks.”
