Beyond the gimmicks of Airbnb’s new limited-time stay at Hannah Montana’s beach house is a gorgeous Cape Cod-style beach house, complete with ocean views, a jacuzzi and direct beach access.
The property, which is currently available to rent, boasts a total of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and ocean views from most rooms. There are two main ‘suites’, one of which opens up to a deck with your own private outdoor fireplace. Meanwhile, the upper-level primary suite offers two walk-in closets and two bathrooms, one of which features a steam shower and a sizeable spa bathtub.
The kitchen boasts granite countertops and Viking luxury kitchen appliances. The main living spaces all overlook the beach, onto which you can step as soon as you open the doors. Other impressive features in the home include a sauna, detached guest house, outdoor shower, and a three-car garage.
The exterior of the home appeared on Disney Channel hit Hannah Montana between 2006-2011, the home’s pop culture credo doesn’t end there. The home also served as the home of Reese Witherspoon and Adam Scott’s characters in HBO’s Big Little Lies. Located on Broad Beach in Malibu, your famous neighbours might also include the likes of Goldie Hawn, Pierce Brosnan and Lady Gaga. It’s also just down the hill from the Cohen house from in The OC.
The impressive property was reportedly listed for sale in 2025, with an asking price of nearly US $21 million (approx. AU $30.4 million). While it waits for a buyer, it’s also reportedly available to rent for US $60,000 to $80,000 a month.
However, fans of Hannah Montana can now stay in the Malibu beach house that served as the titular character’s home. Airbnb has unveiled a promotion with the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special whereby fans can spend a night in the gorgeous beach house, temporarily fit-out with paraphernalia donned by Miley Cyrus herself.
Up to four guests can request to book the home for one night between April 6 to 16. And the cost? Oh, it’s free! You’re just responsible for your own travel.
The stay will permit fans a chance to step inside Hannah Montana’s iconic closet, housing the pop star’s most famous costumes and, of course, the famous blonde wig. For those unfamiliar with the Disney classic, Hannah Montana follows American teen, Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus), as she juggles her regular high school life with her secret career as an international pop star, Hannah Montana. Who owns the Hannah Montana house?
According to People, the Hannah Montana house is owned by the Clunies-Ross family. Originally from Scotland, the family invaded and settled the Cocos Islands, claiming the territory for themselves before it was ultimately transferred to Australia by mandate in 1955. The Clunies-Ross family made their fortune in coconut oil and mining, as well as via their ownership and economic control of the Islands.
