The tools are officially in hand, the paint swatches are out and a fresh batch of Blockheads are stepping onsite. Channel Nine is yet to formally unveil the full cast of this year’s season of The Block.
However, there are rumours. Realestate.com.au have revealed who could be competing for renovation glory in 2026.
This year, it’s set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Eliza on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Already, the series is shaping up to be one of the show’s most design-forward seasons yet, with luxury family homes, coastal views and contestants bringing everything from building experience to strong social media followings.
Here’s everything we know so far about the teams rumoured to be taking on The Block 2026.
Jolene and Adam Wagner – SA

South Australian couple Jolene and Adam Wagner look set to bring grounded, hardworking energy to the competition.
The pair reportedly come from a pastoral background, with experience managing remote stations and tackling physically demanding work.
While they may not arrive with polished influencer personas, that could work in their favour. Now, early reports suggest the duo are practical, resilient and no strangers to pressure. That’s exactly the kind of combination that tends to thrive on The Block.
Tayla & Rick, Vic

Victorian father-daughter duo Tayla and Rick Peroomal could become one of the most balanced teams in the competition. Tayla reportedly works in fitness and beauty, while her father Rick brings more than three decades of trade experience through his restoration business.
Combining styling instincts with hands-on building knowledge has historically been a winning formula on The Block, making this duo one to watch closely.
Chantel & Wyatt, Qld

Gold Coast couple Chantel Green and Wyatt Randall are already shaping up to be this season’s wildcard team. While Wyatt comes from a military and fitness background, and Chantel runs a women’s wellness and movement business while raising three children.
Insiders have reportedly described Chantel as a “firecracker”, hinting the pair could bring plenty of energy and personality to the season alongside their renovation efforts.
Rosco & Lisa, WA

Western Australian pair Rosco Wilson and Lisa Dunbar appear to be one of this season’s most experienced renovation teams. Social media linked to the couple shows them documenting the build of their own custom home on acreage, complete with floorplans, earthworks and construction updates.
With real owner-builder experience under their belts, Rosco and Lisa could quickly emerge as serious contenders once the building challenges begin.
Courtney & Sevilay, Qld

If there’s one team already being labelled “design-led”, it’s Brisbane duo Courtney Kain and Sevilay Keser. Courtney reportedly has experience working as a site supervisor, while Sevilay comes from an interior design and business background.
The pair are expected to bring a polished aesthetic to the competition, particularly important in Mount Eliza’s luxury property market where buyers are likely searching for high-end, move-in-ready homes.
