After 12 gruelling weeks of renovations, spectacular room reveals, plenty of drama and more than a few tears, The Block 2026 auction is finally around the corner. And this year, there is more than just bragging rights on the line.
Five luxury homes overlooking Port Phillip Bay are going under the hammer in Mount Eliza, on Victoria’s prestigious Mornington Peninsula, with multi-million-dollar price tags, breathtaking coastal views and some of the most ambitious renovations we’ve seen on The Block. As you can imagine, expectations are understandably high.
When is The Block’s 2026 auction day?
The Block auctions have officially been set – which will commence in Mount Eliza on Saturday, October 31st, with the episode airing on Sunday, November 1st at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The Block reserves and price guides
While all five houses on The Block have the same number of bedrooms, bathrooms and car spaces, they also have different layouts, land sizes, and views. But, despite that, they all have the same reserve: $3.45 million. They also have the same price guide of $3.6 million – 3.9 million.
In the final week, House 5’s Rick and Tayla won front yard and facade reveals, meaning $50k was wiped from their reserve price. To win The Block, one team needs to earn the highest profit above the reserve. The winning team will take home the profits, an additional $100,000, and this year, Scott Cam’s huge Plungie prize pool.

Scotty Cam has been adding more and more incredible products and cash to his prize pool that will also go home with the winners, which is sitting at a massive $500,000 in value.

As we’ve learned from previous seasons, a beautifully renovated home doesn’t always guarantee a spectacular auction result. After last year’s disappointing Daylesford auctions, which saw two properties passed in without a sale, all eyes were on whether the 2026 contestants could turn their hard work into life-changing profits.
And with all five properties carrying a hefty $3.45 million reserve price, there is plenty riding on the outcome.
