The brand’s latest drop has landed with a bang, bringing in viral lamps, chrome accessories, polka dots, and the colour that is being named the new neutral by designers: chocolate.

Lighting steals stole the show
With most Kmart drops, there is always something that goes completely gangbusters online. This season, it’s the Marble Portable Rechargeable Lamp in Merlot.
The $19 red marble lamp is petite in size but huge in personality, selling out online almost instantly. But its appeal goes beyond the marble finish. Like so many of Kmart’s latest lighting launches, it’s portable, rechargeable and completely cord-free.

The same thinking has fuelled the rise of Kmart’s rechargeable wall sconces.
Wall sconces are having a major design moment, adding warmth, character and another layer of light that can make a room feel more considered. Traditionally, though, they’ve required hardwiring and an electrician, putting them out of reach for many renters and anyone looking for an affordable weekend update.
