Design blog, the Design Files is throwing open the doors to its much-loved sales event, Open House, for a fifth time.
Following a 2-year hiatus during in which founder and design maven Lucy Feagins focused on her latest project – her daughter Minnie – she and her growing team at TDF have been working furiously behind the scenes of the regular blog over 9 months, designing a dream home that is at once of the moment and a view to what we can expect from interiors in the year ahead, albeit a pop up one.
In a warehouse space, bigger and better than ever, the Open House space has this year been designed and fitted out from the ground up and the doors are open over 3 days only from today, Thursday 23rd November to this Sunday 26th November.
Interior and homewares design lovers are invited to walk room to room in a unique and colourful home setup where everything you see is on trend, beautiful and for sale. Living, dining, kitchen and bedrooms are filled with objects, furnishings and artworks from established and emerging artists and makers.
New this year are TDF talks – ticketed workshops where you can connect with and listen to insights from local creatives and interior design influencers.
From the books lining shelves – hand built for the event by local tradespeople – to lighting overhead and rugs underfoot, from paintings on the walls to the armchairs on rugs and beckoning bar cabinets, all this can be yours.
