Talk show host Graham Norton has put not just one but two of his homes up for sale, with both his London terrace and New York City carriage house now on the market. These homes form part of Norton’s global property portfolio which, until now, has included homes in America, England and his homeland of Ireland. While we don’t know the reason Norton is letting two of these homes go, we can only wonder whether his marriage to Scotsman, Jonathan McLeod, has prompted a new purchase in Scotland.
Inside Graham Norton’s London home

Norton has lived in his London home for more than 20 years. The home is a Grade II-listed Georgian property that belongs to a group of four terraced houses, of which Norton’s home occupies two of them. Located along the River Thames, it used to be London’s dock masters and customs offices, and boasts a front row view of the water. It’s listed for £4.9 million (AUD $10.1).

The interiors retain plenty of heritage charm, with vaulted ceilings, stone floors, wooden beams and exposed brick all adding character to the London heritage property. Comprising of four floors, the property comes with two reception rooms, an open-plan entertaining area, three double bedrooms and a master suite occupying an entire floor.

Decor-wise, the home exudes British charm with Norton’s personality coming through in the home’s large collection of artworks, books and tasteful furniture.

There’s also a sweet interior courtyard that connects the two buildings and a second small private garden accessed through one of the reception rooms.

Inside Graham Norton’s New York home
The property where Norton stays while in New York City is also for sale, listed for US$5.5 million (AU$8.5 million). Located in the private, gated mews of Sniffen Court, Norton’s property is one of just ten residences. The homes were all built between 1863 and 1864 as horse stables and were turned into townhouses in early 1900s. Norton also isn’t the only famous face who has called the community home—Norton actually purchased his gorgeous home from model Claudia Schiffer, while his former neighbours include the likes of Lenny Kravitz and composer, Cole Porter.

Like Norton’s London home, the property retains many desirable character features, including fireplaces, arched windows and a gorgeous red brick exterior. Norton and husband Jonothan, have also recently given the interiors a refresh with the help of Gachot Studios.

The renovation saw the couple add more colour to the interiors of the property, with the green kitchen being particlarly charming and the bright orange dining room also a showstopper.

Not unlike his London home, Norton’s books and art are on display, with plenty of fun furniture choices bringing a playful energy to the home.

The main bedroom occupies the entire third floor of the home, also containing a sitting room and office with large windows that overlook the mews.

The home also comes with an enviable rooftop deck, which Norton has filled with an outdoor dining table, lounge setting and stylish potted plants.
