How do I redeem an Appliances Online discount code?
It’s simple to add your discount code at the checkout when you’re shopping with Appliances Online. Here’s how to do it on either a desktop computer or your mobile:
- Get an active code: Home Beautiful’s Deals Team test every code and offer here, so you can click on one to copy the code and view details.
- Shop for your appliances: We’ll open a new window in your browser so you can go straight to the relevant section and add what you want to cart.
- Choose your extras: If you’re buying something like an oven or fridge, you’ll be able to select free removal and recycling of old products after adding the new one to cart. You can also choose to get a care plan in addition to the warranty.
- Go to the checkout: When you’re ready click ‘Go to checkout’ (or click your cart to confirm this), enter your details and choose your delivery date from the calendar.
- Add the code on mobile: Click on ‘Show order summary’ to expand this section, enter the code in the discount code field and click ‘Apply’ to update your order.
- Or add the code on a computer: On the right side of the checkout screen, after your order total, you’ll find a field titled ‘Gift card / Coupon code’. Enter the code here and finish adding it by clicking ‘Apply’.
- Complete your order: You’ll see the discount code applied to your order and can go through the rest of the checkout process.

What if a discount code doesn’t work?
Appliances Online discount codes all come with different terms and conditions, so when a code doesn’t work it’s either because it doesn’t meet the conditions or is no longer available. Some of the most common issues are also easy to check and potentially fix, including:
- If the code is entered incorrectly: Check that the code is exactly as it was written, including any letters that are capitalised or lowercase. If you’re pasting it, check that no extra spaces are added (that’s happened to me before and is a very quick fix).
- If there is a spending requirement: This could be spending a minimum amount or be for a specific product category or brand. For example, the Appliances Online $30 discount offered to new customers who subscribe to the newsletter is only available if you spend a minimum of $200. So you would need to spend at least that for the code to apply.
- If there’s already a discount on your order: You can’t usually add a discount code on sale items or when there’s another offer. In fact, the Appliances Online terms and conditions state this clearly: “Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.” So the code may not apply, or only apply to full-price or select items in your cart (depending on the code).
- If it’s expired: Appliances Online may not tell you a code has expired – when I tested an old code it said ‘Not found’ at the checkout. But you can check the terms and conditions for details. For example, the newsletter discount code for new customers is only valid for six weeks from the date of the email. Trying to add it after that won’t work.

How can I get a discount on my first Appliances Online order?
Appliances Online offers $30 off your first order over $200 when you subscribe to the newsletter. This is a pop-up offer on laptops, while on a mobile you’ll find a blue floating button that says ‘Get $30 OFF’ and can click it, then just enter your details to subscribe.
When I signed up, it took a while for the discount code to arrive in my inbox. But if you already have a cart ready to purchase, you can contact the team to ask about using the code straight away.
How often does Appliances Online have sales?
Appliances Online has seasonal sales throughout the year, with some of the biggest including End of Financial Year, Black Friday and Boxing Day sales. For example, during this year’s EOFY sale, the Home Beautiful Deals Team found discounts of up to 50% off. And in dollar terms, our Shopping Editor Paris Blanchfield reported savings of up to $2000 in her EOFY sales guide.
As well as seasonal sales, Appliances Online has Daily Hot Offers you can browse and filter by appliance category, brand, price and more. To give you an idea of the potential savings, I found discounts ranging from around $17 to more than $1200 last time I checked. In fact, there was a $1500 discount on a 110cm Falcon Classic Deluxe Freestanding Dual Fuel Oven/Stove that would be beautiful in a country style kitchen.
Editor’s tip: Refer a friend to get a $50 discount code
Appliances Online offers a $50 discount code to use on a purchase of $500 or more when you successfully refer a friend.
Just enter your details on the referral page and you’ll be emailed a unique referral code to share with friends and family. The people referred will get a $50 discount on their first purchase over $500, after they create an account using your referral link. You’ll then get the $50 discount for your account once they’ve placed their first order over $500.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer to Appliances Online?
Currently, there’s no specific limit on how many people you can refer, although the terms and conditions do note that Appliances Online may make changes without notice. I also noticed on the referral page that this offer is set to end on January 31, 2027.

- Old product removal and recycling: If you’re replacing a fridge, oven, dryer, washing machine or other large appliance that’s already disconnected, Appliances Online offers free removal on same day as the new one arrives or at a later date, which is ideal if you’re upgrading early as part of a renovation. They also recycle packaging and items where possible.
- Clearance items: Sometimes you’ll find great appliances at marked down prices in the clearance section, which you can search by category.
- Price matching: If you find the exact same item at a lower price elsewhere in Australia but want to get it from Appliances Online, you can contact them on 1300 000 500 or through the online chat service to discuss price matching.
