Big W offers $10 off your first online order when you subscribe to the Inner Circle mailing list.

Just scroll to the footer on the website where it says ‘Stay updated with Big W offers’, click ‘Subscribe’, enter your name and email address and then press the ‘Sign me up’ button.

You’ll get a welcome email with your unique promo code for $10 off an online order over $75 by adding the code to cart. This includes orders through Big W Marketplace, which opens up a wider selection of items – including décor, furniture, Christmas trees and more.

Five key things to know about Big W’s $10 welcome code

1. You can’t use it on Apple products, game consoles, pre-orders, clearance items or gift cards.
2. You can use this code on items sold directly through Big W as well as through Marketplace.
3. The $75 minimum order spend is based on your cart value before shipping or other fees are applied.
4. The promo code is valid for a limited time (14 days when I got it). Expiry details are included in the email.
5. This discount is single-use and can’t be stacked with other codes.

1. Everyday Rewards: This free rewards program gives you a way to earn points on your Big W purchases, and you can redeem 2000 points for $10 off a purchase directly with Big W. You can also earn and redeem points at Woolworths, BWS, Healthylife and with other partners. Plus get exclusive offers for bonus points, promo code discounts and more.
2. Limited-time deals: Big W has a dedicated tab on the website for the latest deals, including big discounts. For example, last time I checked there was 50% off a huge range of items, from TimTams to cat scratchers.
3. Catalogues: You can pick up a printed catalogue in-store or browse the digital catalogues for seasonal discounts and promotions.
4. Clearance: Big W also has a big clearance section, which you can browse by category, with prices starting from $5 and under.
5. Major sales: If you can plan ahead, some of the biggest savings at Big W are during major sale events including Black Friday, Boxing Day and EOFY. For example, I found 33% off a KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer at Big W during the EOFY sales in 2026, and up to 50% off for the Big Toy Sale that Big W runs around that time each year.
6. Marketplace offers: Big W’s Marketplace gives you access to a wider range of products, partners and promotions, which can make it easier to get value on items you want for your home. For instance, I found savings $700 (around 40%) off a DeLonghi Rivelia coffee machine bundle and $200 (around 14%) off a Samsung 427L bottom mount fridge last time I checked. There was even a promo code to save on a new Samsung Galaxy phone.

Do you still get 10% off at BIG W with rewards?

Unfortunately, no. This was an offer for Everyday Rewards members via the paid Everyday Extra program. It allowed members to get 10% off one shop per month at Big W and one shop per month at Woolworths, with a minimum spend of $50 and a maximum saving of $500. You can still get the monthly 10% discount at Woolworths, but it was removed from Big W in June 2025.

I signed up for Everyday Extra membership when the program was launched and have saved so much with the 10% discount – both at Big W (when it was available), and still at Woolworths. But if you’re mostly shopping at Big W, the benefits you get through the free Everyday Rewards program may be enough.

Why Big W is a Home Beautiful favourite for affordable style

When it comes to affordable décor and homeware, Big W has been a Home Beautiful staple for years. In fact, Home Beautiful spoke with Big W’s new House Stylist, interior designer Jono Fleming, for the launch of the spring/summer 26 collection – which features some lovely pieces.

And when I recently checked, the prices of these luxe candles were among the lowest available in Australia.

Big W FAQs: Discounts, delivery and more

Does Big W have a promo code for free shipping?

Big W does sometimes run free shipping promotions. For example, between September 7-30, Big W offered a promo code for free same-day delivery on orders over $12 for eligible orders.

But even without a promo code, Big W offers free standard delivery on orders over $59 in metro areas and on orders over $99 in regional or remote areas. You can also get a low delivery fee of $4 if you’re only ordering books.

Keep in mind that these offers are only for items sold directly through Big W. For Marketplace items, the delivery fees and free delivery offers vary depending on the seller and are listed on the item pages as well as at the checkout.

Does the Big W app have exclusive promo codes or offers?

The Big W app doesn’t currently have any app-only offers. But it is designed to make it easier to view current offers and promotions, especially when you link your Everyday Rewards account.

How much is delivery at Big W?

Big W charges $8 for standard delivery to metro areas if your order is under the $59 free shipping threshold.

For regional and remote orders, there’s a $10 standard delivery fee when you spend under $99.

Keep in mind that a promo code or other discount could take your order value under the free shipping minimum after it’s applied. But you can always update your cart if you want.

It’s also worth noting that these standard delivery fees only cover orders made directly with Big W. So delivery fees for bulky and fragile items and Marketplace orders are calculated separately and outlined on product pages or at the checkout. I’ve even seen free shipping details for Markeplace items when browsing different categories on the Big W website.

Can I click and collect?

You can click and collect online orders from Big W when they are sold directly through the store, which is another way to save on delivery fees.

You can’t click and collect Marketplace orders, so take note of the ‘Marketplace’ label when browsing if you want to go in-store. Or use the filters to exclude Marketplace items, if you want.

What is Big W’s return policy?

Big W offers a long 90-day return period for most items sold directly by the store if you change your mind. The items must be in their original condition with all packaging and accessories.

You can return items for free by visiting a Big W store. For online returns, you’ll pay the shipping fees (including any fees charged for the original order).

Some key items are excluded, including perishable items past their expiry date, cosmetics, underwear, swimwear, pierced jewellery, tents, trampolines and clearance items. Refer to the Big W website for the full policy details.

Marketplace returns are different, here’s what to know

Big W Marketplace products are sold and shipped by sellers, so you can’t return them to a Big W store and have a standard 30 days for change-of-mind returns. All Marketplace returns have a $15 return shipping fee, too.

Editor’s note: If you buy larger pieces of furniture and items from Big W Marketplace, check the weight and dimensions as the change-of-mind return policy excludes items over 22kg. It also doesn’t cover items with shipping lengths or dimensions over 105cm and 0.25 cubic metres respectively.

What payment options do I have with Big W online?

Big W online accepts all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal, Afterpay and Zip. You can also select Layby when shopping online or in-store at Big W. Or use gift cards and Everyday Rewards for part or all of your payments. If you have a promo code, remember to add it before paying, as it can’t be applied once your order is finalised.
