How do I redeem a Dyson discount code?

You can redeem a Dyson discount code to your order in just a few steps:

Get your code: Choose any of the verified offers here and click on it to get the code and key details.
Shop on Dyson: Switch over to the new window we’ve opened for you, or click on ‘Dyson’ from the offer card. This will take you straight to the relevant section of the Dyson website, where you can browse and start adding your new technology to cart.
Go to your cart: When you’re ready, click through to your cart or select the shopping basket icon to view it – and get your code ready.
Apply the code: On mobile, click on ‘Have you got a promotional code’ to reveal the discount code field, enter the code and click ‘Apply’. Your order will update with the valid discount offer and you can click through to checkout.

Editor’s note: You can only add your Dyson discount code at cart, not at checkout. But you can click ‘Update order’ during checkout to return to your cart. Just make sure you do it before paying, as codes can’t be added retrospectively.

The Dyson discount code field at checkout is revealed after clicking where it says 'Have you got a promotional code?' as highlighted in this screenshot on mobile.

How Home Beautiful selects Dyson discount codes and deals

With a range of vacuum cleaners to suit all types of households, sculptural fans and heaters that Home Beautiful‘s team have long turned to for climate control, hair tools, headphones and even lighting, Dyson has a reputation for appliances with sophisticated and sleek design features. These premium products have prices to match, so if you’re looking to upgrade to Dyson tech, here you’ll find our curation of tested discount codes and deals available in Australia.

We take a hands-on approach to sourcing and verifying Dyson discount codes. With an experienced Deals Team, we draw on our established network of partners, trusted sources and frequent, in-house research to find the most valuable and relevant Dyson promo codes, discounts and ways to save. We only list codes that we have personally verified, with each one tested by someone on our team before it’s listed here. We also review the terms and conditions and remove deals when they expire so that it’s easy for you to find and use the most valuable deals.

More ways to save and get value with Dyson

Price matching: If you find the same Dyson product at another national retailer for a lower price, simply contact Dyson on 1800 239 766. The brand’s best price policy gives you another way to save and still enjoy the benefits of purchasing directly (such as fast activation of the product’s guarantee).
Exclusive deals: Dyson offers a range of deals directly through its website, which can range from free attachments or accessories to discounts on bundled items.
Certified refurbished range: If you value sustainability as well as quality and price, Dyson Renewed products are sold at a discount to brand-new stock and backed by a 1-year warranty – a reassuring middle ground between full-price and second-hand. But stock moves fast. I recently had my eye on a refurbished stick vacuum, took a day to think it over, and it was gone.
Existing customer offers: If you already have Dyson appliances, make sure you’re subscribed for email and/or SMS updates as Dyson sometimes sends exclusive offers and owner rewards. For example, I recently saw a Dyson Owner Rewards offer for 20% off in-stock spare parts and accessories.
Trade pricing: Hair stylists and other business owners considering Dyson products can register to access exclusive discounts and offers for professional products for salons, hotels, offices and more.

How often does Dyson have sales?

Dyson has sales throughout the year, with some of the biggest savings often available during major sales periods including Black Friday, Boxing Day and the End of Financial Year (EOFY). Home Beautiful Shopping Editor Paris Blanchfield also found discounts of up to 55% for Click Frenzy in March 2026.

I’ve been following and reporting on Dyson sales since 2024, and can confidently say these promotions offer impressive value. For example, during Black Friday sales, I’ve found discounts of $670 on the Dyson Gen5detect Absolute stick vacuum and $374 off the Dyson Hot+Cool Formaldehyde fan heater.

“As well as the major Australia retail sale seasons, my tip is to keep an eye out for the exclusive ‘Dyson Week’ sales that occur at different times during the year on the website. In May 2026, Dyson offered up to $600 off, with an extra $30 discount at the checkout when using a promo code.”

Editor’s tip: Check other retailers for pricing and availability

Dyson appliances are available at a selection of other retailers that often have competitive pricing during sales. This includes The Good Guys, Myer, David Jones and Amazon Last Black Friday, for instance, I noticed Amazon and Myer had the sharpest pricing on Dyson Airwrap models. Earlier this year, Amazon Prime Day also delivered strong Dyson discounts, particularly on vacuum cleaners.

As Dyson vacuum cleaners and other appliances often sell more quickly during sales, checking a few retailers for stock can help if the model you want is sold out directly.

Dyson FAQs: Discounts, delivery and returns

Does Dyson have a first-order discount code?

New customers in Australia get 10% off their first Dyson order after subscribing to the newsletter. You’ll be sent a welcome email with the discount code and have 30 days to use it on most of Dyson’s range (excluding electric toothbrushes). This includes sale products priced over $599.

The 10% discount code Dyson offers to new customers and subscribers is usually offered through a pop-up when you first visit the Dyson Australia website. But if you don’t get the pop-up, you can visit this sign-up page instead.

The Dyson discount code for new subscribers is sent in a welcome email, with a screenshot of one here. — This is the welcome email I got when I signed up to Dyson’s newsletter, to give you an idea of what it looks like. I’ve removed the discount code details, as they’re unique for each subscriber.

Does Dyson have a student discount?

Dyson doesn’t have a student discount currently advertised on the Australian site. There’s also currently nothing in the terms and conditions, which previously included a 5% student discount offer.

But during my research I noticed both Student Beans and UNiDAYS list Dyson student offers — worth checking if you’re a member of either platform. Dyson has also previously run Orientation Week promotions, with savings up to $400. I’ll update this if new offers appear.

Can I stack Dyson discount codes?

No, Dyson only allows one discount code per order. But some codes can be stacked with other discounts for bigger savings. For example the 10% welcome code for new customers can be used to save on sale items over $599. And I also sae a promo code for an extra $30 off sale items at the checkout in May 2026.

Why is my Dyson discount code not working?

Some of the most common issues are a typo in the code, minimum order requirement, expired offer or a code for Dyson overseas. Every discount code here is verified by our Deals Team at the Dyson Australia checkout and removed when it expires. But if you get a code from elsewhere or are having trouble, here’s how to check and potentially fix the issue:

Re-enter the code: Typos or letters that aren’t capitalised in exactly the same order can make a working discount code invalid. Copying and pasting the code is an easy way to check and fix related issues.
Check your order meets the requirements: Dyson discount codes all have specific requirements, with some of the most common including a minimum order value (e.g. $599) and product categories (e.g. full-price only, floorcare accessories only).
Check exclusions: A Dyson discount code may list excluded items. For example, the terms and conditions for the 10% discount code for new customers specifically excludes the Dyson CameraJet electric toothbrush with flosser (Ceramic pink) and Dyson CameraJet electric toothbrush with flosser (Ceramic ultra blue).
Make sure the code is for Dyson Australia: During my research, I’ve found Dyson discount codes and promotions that are available in other countries, but don’t work here. Home Beautiful only lists codes that have personally been tested on the Dyson Australia website, so we can verify they work. But if you find a code elsewhere, check whether it is actually applicable for the local site.

Does Dyson offer free shipping?

Yes, Dyson offers free standard delivery for orders over $89 anywhere in Australia. Considering the premium prices, this means most appliances purchased through Dyson will be delivered at no extra cost. But if an order is less than $89, you’ll pay a $10 delivery fee.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 2-4 days for metro areas of NSW, VIC and QLD, and up to 8 days for other metro areas. For regional areas, allow 2-10 days for delivery.

If you have ordered more than one item, keep in mind that there may be multiple deliveries based on product availability and logistics.

What is Dyson’s return policy?

Dyson offers 45 days to return a product if you change your mind or aren’t happy with it. Just contact Dyson on 1800 239 766 to start this process.

You can also contact Dyson to discuss your options outside of the first 45 days if there are other issues that may be covered by Australian Consumer Law.

How long are Dyson warranties?

Dyson offers 1-5 year warranty periods depending on the appliance. Vacuum cleaners, fans, purifiers, hair dryers and stylers typically have a 2-year warranty period, with up to 5 years for lighting. Certified refurbished Dyson appliances have a 1-year warranty.

What payment choices do I have with Dyson?

You can shop with Dyson online and pay with an American Express, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa card, as well as Google Pay, PayPal, Zip and Afterpay.

Why Home Beauiful editors always use Dyson as a reference point for home appliances

Dyson’s name has become shorthand for a certain standard in appliances, from powerful suction to quiet air purification, heating and cooling. Its catalogue extends well beyond vacuums into air purifiers, fans, heaters and lighting – Home Beautiful has even featured the Solarcycle Morph Desk Lamp in an article on elevated home office styling. Each category tends to set the bar competitors are measured against.
Some of that comes down to genuine engineering investment, with research and development translating to performance features most homeowners actually notice, whether that’s air quality readings, small-space designs, or how little noise a purifier makes running overnight. Some of it is simply reputation: Dyson has spent years building the kind of trust that makes it the default recommendation, even when a lesser-known brand might perform just as well for less. As Home Beautiful Shopping Editor Paris Blanchfield has previously summed it up, “it’s no secret, we all love Dyson”.
Cheaper alternatives exist, and for some households they’re the smarter buy. But if you’re furnishing a home you plan to be in for a while, understanding what you’re paying for – and finding a smarter way to pay for it – makes the investment easier to justify.
